Greencroc LLC is a U.S.-based company engaged in applied research and innovation focused on the development of sustainable materials and bio-based technologies. We have extensive experience in the development and practical implementation of environmentally responsible technologies. Our work combines scientific expertise, practical engineering, and international project experience to advance science-based, scalable solutions with clear industrial and environmental impact.
How we work
Our work is structured in sequential steps, from applied research to product development and manufacturing. We define the problem, establish the theoretical basis, identify practical applications, develop technologies and formulations, and conduct production trials to refine processes and validate scalability. Each development is evaluated based on material performance, scalability, environmental impact, and feasibility for manufacturing and implementation within the United States.
Where we work
Our initial R&D center and manufacturing base are being established in California and Texas, respectively. These sites are designed to refine technologies, optimize processes, and gain a clear understanding of production scalability within the U.S. regulatory and industrial environment. We plan to expand by establishing additional manufacturing sites in other U.S. states, including economically disadvantaged regions, and to support international implementation through technology transfer and strategic partnerships.
Innovations
Our innovation activities focus on applied research and development of sustainable materials and bio-based technologies derived from biological and industrial resources that accumulate in large volumes and are often underutilized or discarded. We prioritize biomass streams associated with significant environmental and logistical challenges and develop efficient processing pathways that enable their conversion into functional materials, while supporting safe reintegration into natural and industrial cycles. Each innovation advances through applied research, product development, and process optimization, with a clear pathway toward practical, scalable manufacturing and implementation in the United States.

Collaborative Development & Production

Greencroc LLC (United States) and Volna SRL (Uruguay) operate as a coordinated group supporting applied research, development, and early-stage industrial activities. The U.S. entity serves as the primary center for technology development, validation, and planned production, while operations in Uruguay support research activities, access to biomass resources, and controlled testing environments. This structure enables efficient cross-regional collaboration and supports the transition from research to scalable implementation in the United States.
